BOOT RANCH CENTER ADDS HIGH FIELD MRI FOR VASCULAR IMAGING

PALM HARBOR, FLORIDA, December 9, 2002 – Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. announced that it has added a second “High Field” MRI to its extensive list of imaging services. The brand new Philips 1.5T Intera MRI is so powerful that it can take images of the moving cardiac chambers and even the coronary artery.

“It is important for me as a Board Certified Radiologist to bring the community the best of both worlds in one location,” said Manuel S. Rose, M.D., the Owner and Medical Director of Rose Radiology. “With the Philips Intera we can now image patients in a fraction of the time and with a level of detail that is difficult for any other center to duplicate.”

Rose Radiology-Boot Ranch will be the only MRI Center in the area with both "High-Field" Open and “High Field” Cardio-Vascular MRI in one location.

The Philips Intera 1.5T MRI has the shortest, widest and most open bore of any of the compact MRI scanners available. The system will support any exam, including neurologic, musculoskeletal and abdominal imaging to advanced cardiac studies and contrast-enhanced angiography.
